Squires African Restaurant offers a scrumptious experience with two authentic starch dishes: Pounded Yam and Amala. Imagine delicate yam transformed into heavenly solids.

Pounded Yam: The chief of solids. part-refined yam starch is kneaded into a heavy solid ball that makes for a stomach filling dinner.

Amala: Wholemeal yam starch, kneaded in to a solid ball of fluffy deliciousness. Amala is a light staple that is recommended for a light lunch. 

Both are served with our rich and tempting selection of soups.
